SQL*Plus TTITLE / BTITLE Commands

TTITLE, BTITLE commands allow formatting of headers and footers page. The syntax of these commands is:

TTI [TLE] | [BTI [TLE] [specified_type [text | variable] …] [OFF | ON]

TTITLE / BTITLE commands without clause, lists the current definition of the header and the footer of the page.

Title page header or footer, you can specify either through a text, either through a variable. If it is composed of more than one word, the corresponding text must be enclosed in single quotation marks.

The OFF clause determines the suppression of display title, without affecting the definition.


COL n indented to column n of the current line.

S [KIP] [n] performs a jump over n lines. The default value of n is 1.

TAB n performs a jump over n columns of the page. If n is negative, the jump will be made back.

THEY [FT], [NTER], R [LIGHT] aligns to the Left, Center and to the Right of the data on the current line.

BOLD typeface data printout determines bold

FORMAT specifies the format fmt data until clause FORMAT or by the end of the order; If the data type of the format does not match the data type of the element in question, does not affect the clause FORMAT.
